From the 01st of March, we will no longer be visiting Laragh, instead, we are including the new and exclusive 'Beyond the Trees'

Our Wicklow day tour is designed to give you an experience like no other. We take a route through Wicklow, where you will see the lush green fields of arable land.  We then visit a working farm where you get to experience what life is like for the rural farmer. The local farmer and his trusty dog will give you a sheepdog demonstration and explain the workings of this diverse farm. We continue on to a fantastic lunch destination.

We then visit what for many will be the highlight of the tour – Glendalough. The Glendalough monastery was founded in the 6th century, but most of the buildings there today date from the late 10th century to the 12th century. The round tower and the Cathedral are particularly impressive. The setting is what makes this monastic site stand out above all others and you have an hour and a half to explore the surrounding area, breathtaking views and the lakes.

The sights and experiences on this tour are fantastic and we know that our knowledgeable, entertaining guides will make this Wicklow day tour one of the most memorable days of your trip to Ireland.

The tour departs from the molly malone statue suffonlk Street at 8:30 (Please Arrive 10 minutes before Departure time )

We will take a short trip into hollywood, also known as 'the original hollywood', a small village in wicklow that has boasted the name long before hollywood in california even existed. your guide will take you for a walk through the valley here. see if you can spot wicklow's version of the hollywood sign.

Our second stop of the day is to a working sheep farm in the garden county, county wicklow.  Meet the friendly local farmer who will delight in introducing you to rural life on the farm. you will be introduced to their hard-working sheepdogs, they will explain and show you how they are trained to carry out their duties.  and then finally the main event, a sheepdog demonstration. this is a truly unique experience and gives you a great insight into life in rural ireland.

We travel along the Wicklow way to the scenic village of Laragh.

Arriving at Glendalough in the afternoon has distinct advantages as most tours come here in the morning. You have an hour and a half to explore the monastic site and the surrounding lakes. The Monastery itself was founded in the 6th century by St. Kevin, but most of the buildings date from between the 11th and 12th century. Glendalough monastery has many buildings; the tower and St Kevin’s Kitchen are the most complete all the rest are in disrepair to differing extents. The setting amongst the mountains and the lakes is what sets this monastery apart from every other. Take a stroll and enjoy this magical place, you will be transported to a tranquil peaceful place.
